Please join us for a reception and panel discussion to celebrate the launch of “Creating Engagement Between Schools and their Communities: Lessons from Educational Leaders,” edited by Carlos Azcoitia, distinguished professor of practice, and Ted Purinton, dean of the Graduate School of Education at the American University in Cairo.

Welcoming remarks by Stuart Carrier, director of NCE’s School of Advanced Professional Programs. Panel discussion featuring editors and authors, Carlos Azcoitia and Ted Purinton, NCE alumni, Francisco Borras and Judith Dymond, plus contributing authors/collaborators Karen Carlson, Adeline Ray, Daniel Diehl,Chris Brown, Robert Mahaffey, Martin Blank, Mary Ronan, Neil Naftzger,Doris Tell Williams and Charles Payne. Panelists will discuss how educational leaders have made efforts to reconnect their schools to their communities and the varied goals they achieved.

You will have the opportunity to meet several contributing authors and network with local and international educational leaders. One professional development hour will be available. We hope you will join us.
