One of the most challenging aspects of working with young people can often be mobilizing the adults who support them. Many leaders struggle to get colleagues to collaborate on behalf of students. This workshop is designed to support you to understand your role through a community organizing lens in which partnership is central, whether the focus of your work is team leadership, professional development, or coaching. Our objective is to ensure you leave with strategies and next steps to move peers in a positive direction to support the success of youth development initiatives. Even if your organization does not directly serve youth, you can still benefit from the strategies for moving adults in this workshop.

Please join us for coffee and networking at 8:15am, and then engage in an interactive and meaningful session with colleagues from across the region! Registration will remain open until Thursday, November 16th. Space is limited, so please register soon bit.ly/UmojaPD

If you have questions, please email Steph at pd@umojacorporation.org.

*IL educators can receive 3 CPDUs for this session.
