Project Exploration, a nonprofit organization that provides girls and minority youth with high quality science education programs, has recently entered into a partnership with SciGirls and they will be providing a training for our staff and anyone else in our educational community who’d be interested in joining us!

SciGirls CONNECT is a broad national outreach effort to encourage educators, both formal and informal, to adopt new, research-based strategies to engage girls in STEM.  SciGirls CONNECT includes 119 partner organizations located in chools, museums, community organizations and universities who host SciGirls clubs, camps, and after school programs for girls across 34 states.  The SciGirls CONNECT network is a supportive community of dedicated educators who provide the spark, the excitement and the promise of new generation of women in STEM Careers.  SciGirls CONNECT provides mini-grants, leader training and educational resources to partner organizations, and each partner training session involves educators from a score of regional educational institutions.

The training will consist of strategies and interactive, hands-on based activities that can be used when working with girls and girl-serving programs.
